The Golden Boot is awarded to the player who finishes the tournament with the most goals. However, not far behind in second place is a joint taking from France's Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé, Norway's Erling Haaland, and Brazil's Vinícius Júnior. They are all on FOUR after also making strong starts to the tournament. Behind them sit the likes of England's Harry Kane and now record-breaking Cristiano Ronaldo, who became the first player to score in six World Cups.
